At the heart of a region rich in tourist attractions

Bergerac (official tourism website) is located in the southern Dordogne, in the Périgord Pourpre region, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Bordeaux.

A medium-sized town (population 27,000) of great touristic interest. From here, it is possible to visit the town with its rich history and stories (among them the legend of Cyrano), enjoy walks along the Dordogne river, or cruise along the river in the traditional flat-bottomed Gabarre boats, or explore local nature (hiking, mountain biking, canoeing . . .).

The Dordogne (Dordogne-Perigord tourism website), contains many famous places :

  • The Lascaux Caves
  • Sarlat-la-Caneda (medieval town)
  • The gardens of Marqueyssac…

Gourmet moments.

The region is known for its gastronomy and traditional products: walnuts, truffles, duck, ceps . . . and their wine pairings. In fact, the Bergerac and Duras wine region, contains 13 AOCs: Bergerac, Pécharmant, Montravel, Monbazillac . . .

We are located only 8 minutes from Monbazillac (Château website). making it easy to organize a stay combining visits and playful breaks.

We are just as close to Château de Bridoire (Château website) renowned for its historic games, both indoor and outdoor, and for the beautiful building itself.
